Obituary Ludwig Minderlein

Ludwig Minderlein (joined on 01/07/1970)

Dear table tennis friends,

our section mourns its long-standing member Ludwig Minderlein (joined on 01/07/1970), who passed away on 18 March 2014 in his 79th year of life.

Ludwig was practically a man of the very first hour, who over all those long years always offered his help. He was indeed also active as a player, but he committed himself even more to youth work in the 1970s. Here he looked after the 2nd team, organised the trips and was always there whenever he was needed.

His selfless manner and his friendly nature were always a stabilising presence in our section.

Unforgotten, too, are his services as treasurer. He always carried out this trusted and responsible task correctly over about three decades.

Our thoughts are also with his wife Herta, who as a “good soul” was always at his side and supported him with advice and action.

Dear Ludwig, we will not forget you!
