As the crowning glory of last season’s sporting successes, the youth management of the table tennis section of TuS 1860 Pfarrkirchen organised a three-day outing for the young TT players who had achieved 2nd place in district league 2 and 1st place in district league 1: youth manager Beate Brandl and coach Gerhard Erl travelled with a group of players to the Allgäu, to the Skyline Park near Bad Wörishofen:
There, everyone could really be catapulted into the sky and perform the most rapid somersaults at dizzying heights: in the large amusement park with its many whooshing, roaring and spinning attractions, the young people had loads of fun for a whole day.
“Pure adrenaline – thrills, racing pulse and breathless suspense” is quite rightly said of the attractions Sky-Wheel (Europe’s highest overhead roller coaster), Sky-Circle as well as Sky-Shot and -Jet – “insane, awesome”. White-water ride, Bob Racing and Nautic Jets etc. – “great, all fantastic too”. Thrilling experiences, then, which everyone will happily remember. For organising and running the youth outing, the TT board warmly thanks youth manager Beate Brandl and coach Gerhard Erl.
