Pfarrkirchen. Recently a nice table tennis player, Till Kaster from the Düsseldorf area, called section head Wilhelm Kolb – he had, together with colleagues, two days of work to do in Anzenkirchen (at the electric-car tinkerer Heiko Fleck) and would like to train in the evenings in between with the TT section of TuS Pfarrkirchen, since the season would soon be starting. Was there a suitable training time and would there be players around? Although there was officially no team training on the day in question, Simon Wasmeier (men’s team III, district league 3) was immediately willing to complete a training session with Till Kaster (1495 pts), who plays at position five in the 1st men’s team of TuS Reuschenberg 1945 (district league Neuss-Grevenbroich) – later Matthias Kolb (men’s team III, district league 3) also joined in. Our training guest was delighted, and all three enjoyed it – it is, after all, always good to have an “opponent” at the table whose style of play you don’t know. The TT section of TuS 1860 Pfarrkirchen wishes the TT teams of TuS Reuschenberg 1945 a successful and injury-free 2013/14 season – all the best, sporting friends! – lb
