Pfarrkirchen. Tournament director Gerhard Erl, TT department head Wilhelm Kolb, deputy youth leader Beate Brandl and coach Marion Fuchs were highly delighted at the large number of participants at this year’s Mini Championship, which the youth team of the table tennis department of TuS 1860 Pfarrkirchen had organised in the Alexi hall. Only girls and boys who have not yet taken part in official league play were eligible to compete.
The interest and involvement of parents, relatives and friends in the event was also great. They all did not spare their applause for the astonishing performances. In the end all participants received a certificate and a small gift, and the winners also received nice trophies – sponsored by the local VR-Bank, represented by Martina Kastlmeier.
The top four in each age group are qualified for the next-higher tournament at district level!
