35 young players and pupils from seven clubs of the Rottal table tennis playing district took part in the triple gymnasium in Pfarrkirchen to hold the 1st district ranking tournament 2010. The tournament direction at this event, exemplarily prepared and supervised by the table tennis department of TuS 1860, was in the hands of district youth officer Peter J. Doll (Bad Griesbach) and his deputy Gerhard Erl (Pfarrkirchen). The respective top four of each competition qualified for the 1st district area ranking tournament with participants from the Passau, Bayerwald and Rottal playing districts, which also takes place in Pfarrkirchen on 21 February 2010.
For the Rottal district, these players earned qualification places:
Girls: 1. Hannah Mayerhofer (TuS Pfarrkirchen), 2. Sonja Schafferhans (TSV Tann) and 3. Franziska Knauer (TTC Eggelfelden)
Boys: 1. Andreas Schweikl (FC Rossbach), 2. Sebastian Angloher (TuS Pfarrkirchen), 3. Vincent Wehner (TTC Eggenfelden), 4. Fisnik Abazik (TTC Eggenfelden)
Under-15 Girls A: 1. Kathrin Deiml (TSV Tann), 2. Julia Schätz (TSV Massing)
Under-15 Boys A: 1. Michael Schechtl (SV Geratskirchen), 2. Simon Wasmeier (TuS Pfarrkirchen), 3. Florian Schreier (TSV Rotthalmünster), 4. Tonias Langreiter (SV Geratskirchen)
Under-13 B: 1. Maximilian Espertshuber, 2. Mario Pfannenstein (both TuS Pfarrkirchen), 3. Thomas Knauer (TTC Eggenfelden)
