At the table tennis “Mini Championships”, in which only young players may take part who have not yet competed in official association league play, Pfarrkirchen victories at district level are gradually becoming a tradition.
After the victories of Mario Pfannenstein in 2009 and Maxi Espertshuber in 2010, another promising young talent of the capable TuS players prevailed again this year: Max Grabow won so dominantly at district level that, keeping his “clean sheet”, only his club colleague Stephan Ederer was able to take a single set off him. With this, our Lower Bavarian champion Max Grabow has qualified for the state final on 17 April in Munich! Stephan Ederer’s fourth place is also impressive. However, since only places one to three qualify for the state final, the young Pfarrkirchen player could still move up should the district’s number two or three withdraw. – rb
